Berlin, Berlin, wir fahren nach Berlin...

Well, actually we fuhren nach Berlin, cause we're back home since yesterday.
In January my boyfriend and me bought two tickets for Dieter Nuhr's show in Berlin. Nuhr is a great German kabaret artist, and both of us like him very much. He's very critical, but in a very funny way. So we decided to go to Berlin, so we could visit an aunt of my boyfriend there, too.
Two months after ordering the tickets I bought an X Files "Fight The Future" promotion display on ebay which must be picked up in Berlin. And it was okay for the seller to keep the promo display til August. How great!
So I waited for August to come! But then some unplanned things happened. My boyfriend moved into my flat (well, ok, moving wasn't that unplanned but it wasn't really expected to happen on that very weekend!) and he thought about canceling our trip to Berlin because of all the things we needed to do over here. In the end we decided to go to Berlin for 2 days, to see Nuhr and to pick up the display. Yeah!
So on Saturday my boyfriend brought his boxes and furnitures to my flat and one day later we sat in the van of my Mum, on our way to Berlin!
When we arrived we first picked up the promo display! Woah, it's soooo huge!! What a luck my Mum has a van cause otherwise it would have been impossible to get it home!!
Then we visited my boyfriend's aunt in this small cafe where she works. Really nice, right in Berlin-Kreuzberg. But we soon went short of time so we had to hurry up.
Ten minutes before the show started we arrived the "Wühlmäuse". I've seen Dieter Nuhr six years before, which was great, too. But this time it was really brilliant! We had a great time, laughed a lot and yer, time went by too fast.
A few mins after the show Dieter Nuhr came out of the theater and I asked him to sign the book "Gibt es intelligentes Leben?" written by him - what he did :-)

The next day we had a comfy breakfast and afterwards we made a walk through a nearby park before we had to leave Berlin. It was such a short time there but it was funny anyway :-)
And I couldn't wait to get the promo display into our flat. After a little fight with the closely doorframe we finally got it into the work-/bedroom. Now we use it as a room divider. A very cool room divider, by the way ;-)

Now there's no other way than to sleep well in this room - with the display and with Mulder & Scully on the wall!
