You know what's a really awesome way to start a day?
Watching P!nk's live in Sydney DVD together with my little monster!

My daughter and me love P!nk and my daughter still can't forgive me for being on a P!nk concert twice without her.
I promised her that I'd go to a concert with her when she's 6.
So I really hope for a P!nk tour in 2011 ;-)

a new start

Wish you all a happy New Year 2010!

Hope you had a great night and a safe and great start into the new year.

My start was kinda weird - what else? ;-)
While everyone thought it would be necessary to make huge firworks me and my little monster had much more fun with sparklers.


Afterwards everyone started to play a board game. Everyone but me.
I sat on the couch next to my little monster who was tired as hell. So I just sat next to her and caressed her neck to make her feel comfortable.

At about 4am we arrived back home and I slept until 12pm.
First thing I did when I woke up was checking on my mobile phone - same procedure as every "morning".
I thought I was still dreaming when I looked at the display. I was informed that I had two new text messages. One was from a good friend of mine.
The other one was from her.
I never thought I would get a New Year's text message from her. Even more surprisingly was what she wrote me.
It was a good start into the day!

And again my daughter went to bed with the photo of my Dad in her arms.
It's unbelievable how much he means to her although he died when she was just 1,5 years old.

My Dad was the one giving me my two names. And I'm really thankful for that - sorry Mum ;-)
He named me after his two favourite female singers. (And people are calling me crazy! :-P)

One thing I wanna do in my life is going to a concert of one of these singers (one is still going on tour, the other one died long before I was born) and tell her that my Dad named me after her.
It's like I need to do it.
